Search engine optimisation (SEO) increases the chances that your website is found when people search for the services or products you offer.

Your website will be manually submitted to major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN Live Search. This will enable the search engines to locate your website.

I build basic SEO into all websites at no extra charge. The insertion of content, links, structure and keywords all play a role in determining your search result ranking and generate free traffic to your site. Your site will naturally progress to a more favourable position in listings after a few months of becoming live.

However, as I do not have control over the search engines, I cannot guarantee a prominent position in the listings - there is a possibility that you can increase your chances of achieving this through Advanced Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), but as it is a time-consuming process without guarantee of effectiveness, it is not currently a service that Wayfield Web Design offers at this moment.

It's also important to realise that SEO is not just about getting high rankings on Google or other search engines. Encouraging visitors or customers to stay on your site and enquire about the products or services you offer is often far more important.
